Alexandria FSS World Day of Remembrance for Traffic Crash Victims

Please save the date! Join Alexandria Families for Safe Streets (AFSS) at William Ramsey Elementary parking lot commemorate the World Day of Remembrance (WDoR) for Road Traffic Victims. WDoR is a high-profile, global event to remember the many millions who have been killed and seriously injured on the world’s roads and to acknowledge the suffering of all affected victims, families and communities. AFSS meets on the third Tuesday of every month via a Zoom meeting link that is sent out a week before the scheduled date. A meeting's agenda typically include updates on TREDS crash statistics as well as the NoVA FSS Near Miss incident reports, including analytics on KSI / NM data and crash corridor trends. In addition, public outreach and traffic regulation advocacy plans are discussed.
