In collaboration with the Alexandria Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) https://alexandriabpac.org/ Alexandria Families for Safe Streets (AFSS) created a questionnaire that is being sent to all candidates running for a City Council or Mayor position in Alexandria City. Candidate responses are collected by AFSS and BPAC.
Please note that AFSS, and its umbrella organization NoVA FSS, as well as BPAC are 501(c)(3) organizations. This candidate questionnaire’s purpose is educational and has been shared with all candidates and the public. By law, our organizations are prohibited from participating in, or intervening in (including the publishing or distribution of statements), any political campaign on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate for public office.
