Arlington Families for Safe Streets (Arl FSS) meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of a month.  Topics typically discussed include ways in which to work with Arlington County on the implementation of its Vision Zero program, educational street safety outreach efforts at public venues and schools, traffic regulatory issues at the state & local policymaking levels, advocacy projects for infrastructure improvements on Arlington’s roads and updated analysis of “Near Miss” survey data collected.  Arl FSS’s meetings are on ZOOM, starting at 6:30 pm and promptly end at 8 pm.

Arlington FSS World Day of Remembrance for Traffic Crash Victims

Please save the date! Join Arlington Families for Safe Streets (Arl FSS) at the Nottingham Elementary parking lot off of Little Falls Road commemorate the World Day of Remembrance (WDoR) for Road Traffic Victims. WDoR is a high-profile, global event to remember the many millions who have been killed and seriously injured on the world’s roads and to acknowledge the suffering of all affected victims, families and communities. Arlington FSS Monthly Meeting

Arl FSS meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month via a Zoom meeting link that is sent out a week before the scheduled date. A meeting's agenda typically include updates on TREDS crash statistics as well as the NoVA FSS Near Miss incident reports, including analytics on KSI / NM data and crash corridor trends. In addition, public outreach and traffic regulation advocacy plans are discussed.
